👉 Keep in mind that this guide was designed for piercings performed with NEEDLE, which is the correct technique and recommended by piercing professionals.
1. Caliber
It refers to the thickness of the hole that is drilled in the body to insert the jewelry. The most used piercing gauge is 16G (1.2 millimeters) and this is the one we handle at Helix Body Jewelry for ear piercings.
2. Length (Applies to Labret and Barbell Straight Jewelry)
Indicates the length of the bar from the base not including tops.
3. Diameter (Appliques for Hoops / Clikcer)
The diameter of a hoop refers to the total length of the jewelry, that is, the distance from one end of the hoop to the other end,
